About Jez
(in full)
Jez Rose is a #1 bestselling author, presenter, and ceramic artist.
His career began in television, presenting for the BBC, ITV, Discovery, and QVC. Over more than 20 years he has appeared on programmes including BBC Breakfast and Saturday Kitchen.
With a passion for exploring how to live and work with greater meaning, his 2015 book Flip the Switch: Achieve Extraordinary Things with Simple Changes to How You Think became a number one bestseller. Its success established Jez as a sought-after keynote speaker and consultant, helping global organisations - including 93 of the Fortune 100 - understand behaviour, mindset, and the science of change, inspiring audiences in more than 48 countries.
Jez has varied philanthropic interests and is an advocate for the environment, youth, and equality. In 2016 he purchased a decommissioned farm in Lincolnshire and developed the world’s first Certified Carbon-Neutral honey farm, helping to rear and reintroduce the native British honeybee. Once a professional magician, he has supported Breathe Arts Health Research since 2019 through their Magic Intensive Therapy Programme, helping children and adults with medical conditions.
Away from the studio and stage, he hosts several podcasts, including Roots, Wings & Other Things (named by The Guardian as a top five gardening podcast) and pause & effect. His writing has appeared in The Times, The Independent, and The Guardian.
In 2025, he did the unthinkable: he pressed reset, not as a concept, but as a way of life. He sold almost everything he owned, returned to England after living in America, and began working with clay.
Today, Jez divides his time between creating limited-edition collections for his ceramic studio, FOUND; continuing to write (his next book publishes in 2026); and giving keynote talks exploring reinvention, creativity, and the power of pressing reset.
He lives with his Labrador, Woody, in Rutland.
